Dedicated to Eshmael Nuh...

This little boy turned 2 on Sunday 17th October 2010. We had a small celebration to mark his 2nd birthday at my in laws place... reason the location was chosen is due to the huge lawn for the kids to run around. Save cost la kata kan... prepare a HUGE lawn, bring out all toy cars & balls, prepare some bubbles and sand arts... and let them run around and play as they like...

We have never made a huge party for my kids.. its always small n simple with close family. Hence there were no clowns, baloon sculptures, huge signage, face paintings... i have nothing against all these party funs, in fact i dream of making huge party for them... but ini memerlukan a lot of money... if i do for 1 kid, i have to be fair and do for all 3 kids...   kedekut ker ape umi/abi nih? well, i guess we have to live within our means... sometimes i wonder... will my kids be mad/sad for not throwing a bigger & better party to celebrate their birthdays? i shall educate them on the concept of bersyukur...

The day Eshmael was born (lets see if i can remember/recap this memory happened 2 years ago never good in history subject)

I was on MC given by Dr Delaila in preparation for birth. My due date was 21 October 2008. According to Hijrah Calender we are in the month of Syawal. So I was attending open houses and eating all the glorious food... thinking that i will berpantang soon!!! and i was targeting to go for one last open house before delivering Eshmael on the 20th - pak ngah/kak ana's house... tapi hajat tak kesampaian... 

On the 17th i was utilizing my MC by walking / strolling / measure shopping complex with my MIL, jaja & Erina... feeling some kind of cramp... i just brush it off.. thinking... "aaahhh... the baby is just adjusting its position" - dah sempit la katakan... then balik rumah mcm biasa... then the contraction is getting more frequent & closer... thinking this must be it... tapi still cool... telling hubby... i think we need to go la.. but takut false alarm.. nnt kena hantar balik pulak... still dilly dally... then there was a show... OK! we need to go NOW! it was ard 7pm. FIL took Erina to the shop to distract her from following us... we drove from home to SDMC - not that far pon... n Alhamdulillah... traffic not so bad. 

Reached SDMC, registered n admitted, i was in labor - its already 5cm. OK... wont be long now.... took some pain killers.. Pethadine & gas... no Epi... breath in breath out.. push push push... Eshmael is successfully borned at ard 11.30pm with the assistance of vacumm suction, weighing 3.27kg. Alhamdulillah....
